Bleach London Hair Dye

On Monday I got a bit experimental with Bleach London. Having had extremely dark brown hair for the majority of my life, I was never able to play around with any form of temporary hair dye as absolutely no colour would stand a chance of showing up.

Therefore since dying my hair blonde 18 months ago, I have been so excited to finally experiment! I headed down to Boots and bought three 50ml bottles of different Bleach London hair dyes and came straight back to apply the colour that I was most excited about- Rose! The process was so simple, I just shampooed my hair as usual (do not use conditioner at this point as some conditioners will makes your hair actually repel the dye meaning that the colour intensity will be nowhere near as strong and it will probably fade after one or two washes).

After washing, I towel dried my hair and began to apply the pink dye. (I would definitely advise wearing an old t-shirt to do this in as it may stain what ever you're wearing and if you go topless you will end up dying your chest pink- trust me, I learnt this the hard way)! I let the dye develop for 15 minutes and then rinsed it out with warm water.

So far it has been three days and the colour is still a gorgeous candy floss pink! The bottle advises that the dye will last between 2-10 washes, but since I only tend to wash my hair 1-2 times a week I'm hoping that it will last a really long time! I'll definitely update you on the longevity once the colour has faded!

Leave your lovely comments below as usual and let me know if there's any home dying kits that you would recommend! I'd love it if you'd also follow me on bloglovin and help me reach that 2000 milestone!
